Each year for our Sunday School graduation I make the 3 years olds from our class a Bible bag. Our church buys them a new Bible and I make a fun/unique bag for them to carry their stuff in. I make the straps long enough to put over their head/shoulder to be worn across their body, so Mom does not have to carry it for them. This year I only had one moving up so I got to spend a little extra time on it. Since I have been in the process of Finishing up a turtle quilt – I had the turtle shape in my thought. It made the bag so cute! I use a heavy duty plastic zipper which makes it easy for little hand to zip and lasts longer. This bag is lined with purple fleece – her favorite color.
