This quilt was “born” from the leftovers of another project. I just could not trow away my left-overs and decided to piece then in long stripes. One of my favorite colors to use in quilts is black. I decided to cut the long strip in half and that would be the finished width of the quilt.
I used a bright green thread for some color pop – but mainly black thread that would add a lovely texture.
I love the simplicity of the design matched with the fun quilting designs. This was a definite street-reliever to work on when my real job (nursing) was very stressful.
