I asked Emilie to help me get some quilt pictures. One of the quilts was the wedding quilt that my Grandmother made for me when Mark and I got married. She was from Oshkosh, Wisconsin – so she made it warm (2 inch wool batting). I have always loved this quilt, but it was too hot and heavy for us to use in Florida. Since she had tied it, I decided to un-tie it and put a new batting in it. I quilted it on the long-arm and LOVE how it turned out. I put a muslin on the back – and I can not believe how soft it is. This quilt is going to get many years of use.
