The last month at Guild meeting, I saw an incomplete quilt top with lots of potential on the “free table”. The members often bring fabric scraps, old pattern and magazines, and occasionally a UFO that they do not want to complete.
I saw the frogs and snatched it up. I did re-do the eyes and then added the borders. I put it on the long-arm with a polyester thread. I quilted up beautifully. I even made myself do pebble work in the center and borders – with success.
I like the skinny inner border and matching binding. I machine stitched the binding since it will probably be given to a child – well loved and washed often. I had a great piece of grass fabric already in my stash.

These delightful frogs are from the "Infrognito" quilt pattern from Java House Quilts. See the original in greens and yellows on the website.
I bought a Frog pattern years ago when I was first starting Quilting in Australia from a young lady who had just lost her mother it was her mother's. When I got it I had no instructions just a box with a lot of little pieces hand cut. I am now going to compare the pieces to this and see if they are similar I may be able to do something with it after all. Thank you, Di.
The young lady was from the US

I enjoy making quilt squares. I love putting them on bags, mug rugs, bottle bags. Little gifts or thank you things. Being a Gram and retired I am on limited income.

Love this. I am a passionate frog lover and collector. I love everything frogs. Is there a pattern for this? (paper piecing?) I would be so excited to make this and add it to my ever growing collections of frogs.
