Having fun working on a new quilt. It is based on this quilt pattern I designed a few years ago.
I added the center block. I love the colors. It makes me calmer working with these fabrics. I layered a single polyester batting for the quilting.

I have decided to offer some of my linen pieces for purchase. This is a small table runner which would work well as a table runner or wallhanging.
I love the backing fabric, it is a lovely print in very subtle coloring.
This piece has sold. I will post others as they are completed.
Well, it was so much easier to just quilt two runners on the same backing piece – made it so much easier to load. I don’t know which one I like better.
Here are the 2 together.
I recently quilted a pretty table runner – I loved doing this small project. It went so quickly. Makes a great table topper. I used an extra layer of batting under the linen area only which gave the quilting wonderful loft. It was a little tricky getting it in the right position, but so worth the time.
The back is so pretty.
I was able to give this one to my sister, Jennifer, for her birthday.
It has been a busy month. We had a wonderful vacation up in Wisconsin with my family. It has taken the rest of the month to get back into a schedule.
All three kids are going back to a traditional school instead of homeschooling this next year- so we have been busy finishing everything up and getting all the paperwork together. They are all excited about it. Mark is too as he will be at home alone the days that I work.
I found a milk glass chandler at an antique store and decided to paint it turquoise. I LOVE it. The color and feel go really great in the dining room. The top picture is the old one.
We have done a few projects this summer. I decided to paint the entry yellow and redoing a mirror and shelf. Not many pictures yet, but will get some soon. The 2 embroideries are dated by the maker in 1971 from Ocala. I need to be better about signing and dating my quilts.
My Mom gave me her collection of Modern tone dishes. They look great in my hutch with the vintage linens.
