I have been working on my next show quilt and actually see the end in sight. I figure it will take close to 30 hours to quilt by the time I am done. I took a chance and used a black polyester batting for this quilt and am having a little trouble with pucker on the top. I am telling my that it is just “adding texture”. We will see what the judge thinks about it. Here is a picture of the quilting on the back of the quilt.
I have been feeling the need to touch some new fabric and have the perfect excuse for it – my newest nephew was born today. This is idea for a quilt for him. I am still working on color placement.
