I can not believe that it has been about a month since the last post. I was so trying to get one up every week – Oh well. I wish I could say that I have just been laying out on the beach…...
but that is not the case.
We had the last week of sewing class last Monday and finished off with a bang. I had such a great group of girls this summer and they all accomplished great things!
One of the sewing camps made diaper bags and other baby related stuff which all makes great gifts. Here are two of the finished bags. I think I will make one of these bags for me. I love the deep outer pockets and the button on the top.
I also found an adorable pattern for baby booties on the Martha Stewart website. I changed the pattern a little because I didn’t like the top strap. I measured a friends new baby to make the slippers for. I should have added an extra inch because in a weeks time she had already outgrown them. Grrrrrr!
