My Mom will be seeing the quilt in person this next week. I am so happy how it turned out.
It is an old quilt – made by my Grandfather’s Aunt. My Mom is thinking she was about the same age as I am. I was going to quilt this with a traditional design, but I thought I would add in a little bit of “me”.
I love the four “blue” rows in this quilt. I wonder if she ran out of white, only had enough blue for 4 rows, or if was an intentional design decision?
