Today I did a new program for the Pensacola Quilter’s Guild on machine quilting. I had done a program about 1 year ago for the night chapter so I had to develop a new version for those who attend both the day and night chapter. This new program deals more with design and some of the basic supplies needed. It also has a power point presentation that displays quilting designs.
The program lasted bout 1 1/2 hours but about 20 minutes or so was answering questions. It was great having the program so interactive. I also had with me about 20 quilts that I have done over the last 5-7 years. Two of the quilts have been juried into AQS shows (2007, 2008).
Mark helped me with the power point presentation and we ended up with about 40 slides. He does such a good job and it sure makes me look good!
I also got to show my completed fairy quilt which I named “Serenity”.
