My Mom finds beautiful vintage quilt tops and then lets me quilt them. I love these old tops and it is so fun for me to be able to quilt them. I try to stay traditional with the style of quilting that I put with these old tops. I really wanted to challenge myself to keeping the quilting looser on this top and not using any dense fills. I like the combination of the feathers in the center with the “peacock” fill in the borders.
