I recently started working on my first linen quilt. I love doing whole cloth quilts, so this just added another dimension for me. I found the linen at an antique store in Pensacola for $8. I loved the hand embroidery – it reminded me of the time I spent at my Grandmother’s in the summers. She worked with me on my stitches and I can still remember her telling me that the back needs to look as nice as the front. This linen was beautifully stitched.
