I started making these bags about 4 years ago when the kids in our Toddler Sunday School class promoted. Our church bought each of them a new Bible but I wanted a bag that they could carry themselves and put all their papers in. We put a small notebook and crayons in it as well – to help with the wiggles at the beginning of the service. I love seeing the kids using their bags
I am having a blast making these bags. It is great using up my fabric scraps. I also get to practice my improvisational piecing.
I am having a terrible time picking out my favorite. I love that the bags each match with a quilt.
