This is one of my favorite quilts that I have made in quite awhile. My Mom gave me a few of her hand rusted fabrics. It took me quite awhile to piece this top. The quilting was done one section at a time – some days only one square was accomplished.
I used a double batting for this quilt – cotton on the bottomed then a thin polyester on top. The texture is beautiful.
