This was a really fun project for me to do. I had some de-construction to do first. The customer had pieced the top and started hand quilting it – but it ended up as a dust collector in the closet.
I spent about a week (or two) pulling out hand quilting stitches while watching T.V. in the evenings with the family.
I ended up using two battings. She had a very thin poly batting that I put on top of a cotton batting. This gives a nice “puff” to the quilting.
I hope she loves it as much as I do.
