This was a oddly challenging project for me. The quilt is so pretty – and as soon as I saw it, the ideas started coming. The challenge was that I was to keep the quilting simple and open. I did come up with a free-hand design that I really liked. The challenge was that I spent more time un-quilting with my seam ripper than actually quilting. I am happy with the finished design. What I learned from this project – some days you just have to walk away and come back to it later.
