I have started quilting on a new project. I have done several small (18-24 in) whole cloth quilts and it pushed me to do a large quilt. I hand-dyed the fabric for the top and did some trapunto work. It is now sandwiched and the quilting is started. The fabric is a red-pink color with some brown in it. The thread is a brown rayon – it is showing up really nice. The small stipple work is much smaller than I have ever done before. I am using a #12 top-stitch needle in this project instead of my usual #14 quilting needle and it is doing great.
